Accreditation
Accreditation of a private Christian school is not necessary for a graduate of that school to enroll in a college or university. However, we feel it expedient to comply with state and national educational standards that are beneficial to our student body without compromising our Biblical standards and purposes.
One way of assuring that we offer an educational program of quality and excellence is by being accredited. Northside Baptist Christian School voluntarily entered the accreditation process offered for Christian schools by the Kentucky Non-Public School Commission, Inc. The process involves meeting minimum standards in every area of the school’s program and verifying that the school is effectively accomplishing its mission of Christian education through documentation of standards, through checking student standardized test scores, and through a thorough evaluation by a qualified evaluation team.

Northside Baptist Christian School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or available to students of the school.

Northside Baptist Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies and admission.

Northside is also a member of the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.

National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) recognizes our ACSI accreditation and also "accredits" the school reciprocally, without any further review. However, NBCS is NOT "accredited" by either the Kentucky Department of Education nor the Kentucky Non-Public Schools Commission. NBCS is a "certified non-public school" in the state of Kentucky.
